After getting her Ph.D. in Finance, Founder Karyn Williams developed risk and investment analytics for global investors, advised small and large institutions on risk and allocation, was trustee and independent director for private and public firms, built investment technology, and managed large US public company insurance investment programs.

 

Over her career, she observed that the language of investment management, the complexity of risk, and the opacity of investment programs and products makes it difficult for people to understand in advance whether choices would create value or not.

 

To facilitate understanding and help everyone make investment choices with confidence, Karyn and her team at Hightree Analytics developed independent, proprietary success analytics, Portfolio Pi and Eta. These metrics measure the potential success of investment goals, given investment program choices and forward-looking market information.
